Get to Know Me.

Hello to all you who have stumbled upon me!

This is where I tell you about myself and what this blog will be about.  So, the first entry will probably be a little boring, but after that, it'll get a bit better.

Okay, so my name is Angee.  You can find me on Google + on the button over this way -->.  I don't get on there much.  I'm also on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/angee.hitchens  ; on Twitter as @aahitchh and Instagram as @amhitch .  Feel free to find me on any of them. 

I'm in my early 20's and I'm a hair stylist.  I love my job.  There is nothing better than making people feel better about themselves.  Maybe it's a little vain, but if you look good, you feel good.  It's a great thing to make people happy.  I'm going to school online at SNHU as a Communications major, focusing on journalism.  I am working on writing a book now.  Slowly but surely, I'm making it towards the end.  I am determined to finish it, though.  I have always loved expressing myself through writing.  Poems, stories, songs, all of it.  I sing and play guitar.  One of my best friends and I sing together a lot.  We call ourselves Two of Hearts (you can check us out here:: http://www.facebook.com/TwoOfHeartsEst07 ).  We have our own material, but none of that is online yet.  But seriously, check us out.

I love to read.  I'm a huge fan of the paranormal books.  My two favorite authors are Amy A. Bartol and Abbi Glines.  Look them up if you like Young Adult books.  You won't be disappointed!  My Kindle Fire really gets a work out because I mow through books like nobody's business.  

I'm married to a wonderful man.  January 19th makes one year.  We got married in the Dominican Republic.  It was the most wonderful week of my life.  No, we don't have kids.  No, I'm not pregnant.  And, no, we're not trying any time soon.  Now that that is out of the way, he is truly a wonderful man.  He's in the Army Reserves.  He was in Iraq a couple years ago.  It was rough on both of us, but it made us even strong.  /End sappytalk.

Anyway, enough about me.  Let's discuss what you will find on my blog after this.  Basically, I'll be writing about life.  Things that make me angry, happy, and things I'm passionate about.  This could go from political to silly to sad.  Please, don't comment about how I'm stupid or tell me that my opinions are wrong.  I really don't care unless you agree with me.  Just being honest here. If you have a request about what I should rant about, please let me know.  I have no problem with random rants and such.

So, I hope you enjoy my blog.  I'm nor sure how often I'll update.  Probably not daily, at least not for now.  But, anyway... Have fun.  Be safe.  All that jazz... =)
